BELAIRBUS achieved a spectacular growth of its turnover as shown on the graph below. From 2008 onwards, the turnover is expected to increase again due to the dramatic increase of the number of orders AIRBUS got in the last 2 years as well as to the production ramp up needed for the A380. BELAIRBUS in cooperation with AIRBUS is participating in the pre-design of the Leading Edge Devices of the future A350 XWB. This Long Range Aircraft Programme is of strategic importance for AIRBUS and of course for BELAIRBUS. Indeed, this Aircraft Category represents 42% of the total business value of civil aircraft to be sold in the next 20 years. The A350 XWB which will be the successor of the complete A330 /340 Family Aircraft, could generate in the next 10 years 30% of the total turnover of BELAIRBUS. The participation in the A350 XWB Programme is today, and by far, the highest challenge for BELAIRBUS.
